Cormack, Alexander

CORMACK, Alexander (fl. 1865-70) lived and worked in northern New Brunswick where his name appears in local directories for the town of Chatham (McAlpine's Directory of the Maritimes, 1870-71). In 1865 he prepared the plans 'in a castellated Gothic style' for the Roman Catholic Convent of the Sisters of Charity at BATHURST, N.B. (Morning Telegraph [Saint John], 14 Oct. 1865, 2, descrip.)
