Depatie, Joseph Forget

DEPATIE, Joseph Forget (1868 - 1906) of Montreal, Que. was born there on 25 February 1868 and joined the P.Q.A.A. on 31 January 1896 after submitting an exquisitely rendered 'Design for a Private Residence' in the French Renaissance style in his final examination (C.A.B., ix, Aug. 1896, plate illus.). He practised under his own name until 1901 when he formed a partnership with Ulysse Chopin, but no information can be found on his activity after 1905.
