Eley, Frederick

ELEY, Frederick (fl. 1906-07), an English architect, came to Canada in late 1906 and arrived in Fort William, Ont. in early 1907 (Daily Times-Journal [Fort William], 30 March 1907, 1). He formed a partnership with J.C. Stinson and William Hood (see list of works under Stinson, Eley & Hood) but within six months he had decided to withdraw from the firm and moved to Vancouver (Daily Times-Journal [Fort William], 10 Sept. 1907, 8).
