Fulford, Henry Goldie

FULFORD, Henry Goldie (1886-1938), a native of Toronto, was born there on 9 July 1886 and trained under Bond & Smith (in 1903-04) and with Langley & Langley (in 1904-08). He then joined the Metallic Roofing Co., fabricators of pressed metal ceilings and decorative metal building elements, and worked as their company draughtsman from 1908 to 1912. He moved to Galt, Ont. and opened his own office in 1913, then joined John Evans in partnership in 1914-16 (see works under Evans & Fulford). In late 1916 he returned to Toronto and again joined the Metallic Roofing Co. as staff architect, a position he held until after 1930. He died in Toronto on 21 January 1938 (inf.
