Fox, Thomas

FOX, Thomas S. (fl. 1855-60) was active in Prescott, Ont. as an architect and builder (J. Lovell, Canada Directory for 1857-58, 531). In 1856 he was one fourteen competitors who submitted designs for the Custom House at Quebec City (NAC, RG11, Vol 90, File No. 3, list of competitors). The entry from Fox was not premiated and William Thomas of Toronto was later declared winner.
