FOOTNER, Arthur William (fl. 1868-69), perhaps a son or brother of William Footner of Montreal, was listed as an architect in Lovell's Montreal Directory for 1868-69, 160. He is credited with the design of a substantial residence for Dr. William Wright, St. Dominique Street, MONTREAL, QUE. 1868 (Montreal Herald, 9 Dec. 1868, 1). This source also describes him as the architect for a residence of John Bauden, Guy Street, MONTREAL, QUE., 1868.
