McNicol, Benson

McNICOL, Benson (1852-1921) was born in Beverley Township, Ont. on 29 December 1852 and moved to Woodstock in 1880 where he first worked as a builder and contractor. By 1900 he was offering his services as both architect and builder, and was also active in municipal politics, serving as a member of the city council and as Mayor of Woodstock.
