McDonald, George & Co.

McDONALD, George & Co. (fl. 1903-07) was active in Moose Jaw, Sask. where he advertised regularly in local newspapers. Born in Nobleton, Ont. on 15 March 1881 he graduated from Newmarket High School in 1899 and moved to Toronto to train with James A. Ellis and with the firm of Gregg & Gregg. In April 1903 he moved west to Moose Jaw, Sask. where he claimed to have 'designed buildings to the value of $100,000 (NAC, MG28 I277, Vol. 9, Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, application dated 7 Jan. 1905). No information can be found on his career after 1907.
