McBean, James | Biographical Dictionary of Architects in Canada

McBEAN, James ( -1906) was born in Scotland and worked as builder in Toronto until 1890 when he began to list himself as an architect. He practiced until after 1900, but few references can be found to his work. McBean died in Toronto on 4 August 1906 (death notice Globe [Toronto], 6 Aug. 1906, 12).
