Smith, William J.

SMITH, William J. (fl. 1888-98), active in Toronto, Ont., drew plans for a public school at PORT HOPE, ONT. in 1888 (C.A.B., I, May 1888, 5). He began advertising for tender calls in Toronto newspapers in December 1888. His best known work is that of the Roman Catholic Separate School adjacent to St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Bathurst Street, Toronto. No information can found on Smith after 1897.
