Smith, Ralph L.

SMITH, Ralph L. (fl. 1911-14) was active in Winnipeg where he prepared the initial design for St. John's Presbyterian Church, Cathedral Avenue at Charles Street, in 1914. Only the foundations and basement of his plan were actually built; WWI intervened and construction was halted. The design of superstructure was later planned by J.H.G. Russell and completed in 1923. Smith may have left Winnipeg after 1914.
