YOUNG, William (fl. 1890-96), of New York City is an obscure figure who was noted as the architect for the refined Shingle Style residence for Walter Edward H. Massey, Jarvis Street, TORONTO, ONT. (C.A.B., v, April 1892, illus.). He may be the 'William E. Young, Architect' who maintained an office on West 23rd Street in New York from 1890 until 1896 (D.S. Francis, Architects in Practice in New York City 1840-1900, l980, 84).
