Watson, Thomas J.

WATSON, Thomas J. (fl. 1892-1895) was listed as an architect in Shelburne, Ontario in 1895 (William T. Comstock, The Architect's Directory for 1895-96, New York City, 94 ). Earlier in 1892 he prepared the design for the Orange Hall, SHELBURNE, ONT. (C.R., iii, 23 April 1892, 1, t.c.). This work was erected by the local branch of Loyal Orange Lodge and was said to have been located 'beside the Methodist Church, Melancthon', a small post village near Shelburne (Shelburne Free Press, 14 April 1892, t.c.)
