Gouin, Henri Talbot

GOUIN, Henri Talbot (1893-1962) was active in Montreal, Que. after 1925. He was born there on 1 December 1893, and he later graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 1918. By 1925 he had joined the Province of Quebec Association of Architects, and was recorded in a brief partnership with J. Albert Bernier, and later collaborated with Jean Omer Marchand on the design of a Roman Catholic school building in Montreal in 1928. He opened his own office in 1932, but for unexplained reasons he resigned from the P.Q.A.A. in 1935, and was later recorded as working in the Unemployment Insurance Commission in Ottawa in 1951.
