McGregor, Charles

McGREGOR, Charles (1849- c. 1920), of Charlottetown, P.E.I. worked as both an architect and builder during the period from 1878 until after 1883. In 1876 he was named Superintendent of Public Works for Queen's County, succeeding Richard Weeks. Born in Prince Edward Island, his name appears in the 1881 Census of Canada as “architect & builder”, but he was also working as a contractor in Charlottetown as late as 1920. No information on his activity after this date has been found (inf. Harry Holman, Charlottetown)
