Hill, William

HILL, William (fl. 1833) advertised his services as an architect and builder in Hamilton, Ont. in 1833 (Western Mercury [Hamilton], 18 April 1833, 3). In June of that year he was credited with the design of the ornamental plastering and stucco work in the residence of Peter Hamilton, HAMILTON, ONT. (Western Mercury [Hamilton], 27 June 1833, 2). That same day a Notice of Sale, accompanied by a description, was published in connection with William Hill's own house on the Dundas Road (Western Mercury [Hamilton], 27 June 1833, 3). No reference to his activity in Canada can be found after this date.
