Labranche, C. Leo-Paul

LABRANCHE, C. Leo-Paul (1908-1977) maintained an office in Drummondville, Que for nearly thrirty years. Born in Danielson, Connecticut on 17 August 1908, he graduated from the local Ecole des Beaux Arts in Quebec City in 1931 and trained under G. Fernand Caron in Quebec City (in 1936-37), and with J. David Deshaies of Nicolet, Que. in 1938-41. He opened an office in Drummondville in 1941, and after 1950 he formed a partnership there with Emilian Bujold (1921-2012). Labranche died at Drummondville, Que. on 5 September 1977 (death notice La Parole [Drummondville], 14 Sept. 1977, 46; inf. Province of Quebec Assoc. of Architects, Montreal)
