Davis, Samuel H.

DAVIS, Samuel H. (c. 1902-05), was an obscure figure who was active in Toronto, Ont. as an architect and member of the Toronto Architectural Eighteen Club. Much of his work appears to have been for projects for speculative development by various builders in the city. According to a lengthy biography of this architect which appeared in The Toronto Daily Star, 23 June 1905, Industrial Edition, p. 14, he possessed “.....much experience in church buildings “, and he was also recorded as a designer of residences and commercial buildings in Toronto. No biographical information has been found on this architect.
