Baker, Arthur Ernest

BAKER, Arthur Ernest (1886 - c. 1914) of Toronto, Ont. was born there on 30 August 1886 and he obtained his architectural training in the office of William G. Burns. He was recorded as a draughtsman for this architect in 1907 (City of Toronto Directory, 1907, p. 317). Baker moved to British Columbia in 1908, and later opened an office in Chilliwack, B.C. in early 1911. His name is recorded as the architect for several projects in that town in 1911-12. No information has been found on his activity after he left the area in 1914.
