Harvey, Alexander

HARVEY, Alexander (fl. 1889-91), of West Toronto Junction, was recorded in the local newspaper there called The York Tribune [West Toronto Junction], Exhibition Number, 1889, page 5, which notes that “Mr. Harvey is an architect….and has been in business here for about one year, having come here from the City of Toronto in September 1888. He learned his profession with S.E. Gross & Co., the largest real estate and building firm in Chicago…” His first tender call for an architectural project appeared in The Telegram [Toronto], 30 March 1889. No information has been found on his work after 1890.
