Taylor, Allen M.

TAYLOR, Allen M. (fl. 1927- 1981) lived and worked in Toronto, Ont. and is credited with two residential projects in the South Kingsway neighbourhood. No information has been found on his education and training, but by 1927 he was working independently, designing his own house on Riverside Drive, overlooking the Humber River, as well as a residence on nearby Mossom Place. By 1930 he had joined the staff of the Architectural Dept. of the provincial Dept. of Public Works in Toronto, and spent much of his later career there.
