Kennedy, Robert Dowd

KENNEDY, Robert Dowd (1853 -1887), born in Ontario in 1853, was in partnership with John H. Young in Hamilton, Ont. from June 1878 (Spectator [Hamilton], 7 June 1878, 1, advert.). Their collaboration was shortlived, and by November 1879 their business relationship had formally ended. Kennedy continued to work as an architect, civil engineer and surveyor until his death in Nebraska in 1887 (biog. J.H. Beers, Commemorative Biographical Record of the County of York, 1907, 672-3)
