Lemieux, Lucien

LEMIEUX, Lucien (1905-1968), active in Montreal and partner in the firm of Crevier, Lemieux, Mercier & Caron after 1960. Born in Montreal, Que. on 15 June 1905 he graduated from the local Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montreal in 1929 and served an apprenticeship with Maxwell & Pitts in 1929-32. In 1933 he joined the office of Ludger Venne. Only a few references to his works can be found. He died in Montreal on 28 December 1968 (obit. and port. La Presse [Montreal], 7 Jan. 1969, 35).
