Leblanc, Gedeon

LEBLANC, Gedeon (fl. 1863-85), active in Arthabaska County in Quebec, near Trois Rivieres. In 1864 both he and Augustin Leblanc (perhaps a brother?) were listed as architects residing in the town of Stanfold, Que. The name of Gedeon Leblanc can be linked to the design of at least five Roman Catholic churches in this region of central Quebec. No biographical information on Leblanc has been found.
