Gilmore, Alfred A.

GILMORE, Alfred A. (fl. 1913-28), active in Preston, Ont. where he designed a substantial indoor Skating Rink, PRESTON, ONT. in 1913-14 (Canadian Builder & Carpenter [Toronto], iv, June 1914, 41-2, illus. & descrip.). In 1916 he prepared plans for the residence of William Campbell in EDMONTON, ALTA. (Canadian Builder & Carpenter [Toronto], vi, July 1916, 9-11, illus. & descrip.). He is almost certainly the same 'A.A. Gilmore, Architect'credited with designs for holiday lodges at Muskoka Lodge Bungalow Camp, MUSKOKA LAKE DISTRICT, ONT, 1928 (Canadian Hotel Review [Toronto], vi, June 1928, 26, 43, illus.).
