Munro, Hector

MUNRO, Hector (fl.1867-76) was active in Montreal, Que. where he worked as superintendent under J.W. Hopkins for the construction and completion of Hopkins design for The Gibb's Store Block, Notre Dame Street, MONTREAL, QUE., 1867 (Builder [London], xxv, 6 July 1867, 494, descrip.). The name of Munro appears in classified lists of architects in the Montreal City Directories from 1872 to 1876, but no references to his own work there have been found.
