MOORE, George (fl. 1874-78) advertised himself as 'architect & builder' in Lindsay, Ont. in 1874 (Canadian Post [Lindsay], 27 Feb. 1874, 1). That same year he prepared plans and specifications for a brick church on the 4th Concession, Verulam Township, Victoria County, for Rev. Logan of nearby Fenlon Falls (Canadian Post [Lindsay], 27 March 1874, 3). The church was located near the boundary with Somerville Township.
