Reading, Arthur J.

READING, Arthur J. (fl. 1886-1890), active in West Toronto Junction and described as 'the architect' for West Toronto Junction Baptist Church, High Park Avenue at Annette Street, TORONTO, ONT., 1888 (Toronto World, 26 Sept. 1888, 2). He is almost certainly the same 'Arthur J. Reading, Artist' residing on Clendenan Avenue in 1886-88 (Toronto City Directory, 1888, West Toronto Junction, p. 1116), but no information has been found on his other architectural activities.
