Languedoc, George Francois Errol de G.

LANGUEDOC, George Francois Errol de Guerry (1856-1924), born in Montreal on 11 November 1856, was educated there and graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique in 1878. He trained as an engineer and commenced practice in May 1887. The following year he formed a partnership with Joseph Haynes, but their business relationship was shortlived, and dissolved in 1890. He joined the engineering division of the Dept. of Public Works in Ottawa in 1905 and remained there until his retirement in April 1924. He died in Ottawa on 27 September 1924 (obit.
