Jarry, Gabriel Richard

JARRY, Gabriel Richard Joseph(1915-1983) was born in Montreal on 25 February 1915 and graduated from the Architecture Department of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts at Montreal in 1939. He trained under J. David Deshaies, Napolean Beauchamp and Paul E. Lapointe before joining the staff of the Foundation Co. of Canada in August 1940 where he worked as a draftsman on several industrial projects. In February 1943 he transferred to the Canadian Car Munitions Co. and worked as an assistant to Frank Peden. He joined the P.Q.A.A. in 1944 and opened own office in Montreal in 1946 (inf.
