Brown, William

BROWN, William (fl. 1872-74), a surveyor by profession, was active in Orillia, Ont. where he was in partnership with Arthur G. Robinson, who was described as '...a former Government engineer and architect' (Expositor [Orillia], 7 Nov. 1872, 1, advert.). Much of the design work by the firm was executed by Robinson who had previously worked as an architect and government engineer. No information can be found on Brown after 1874.
