Brown, Frederick

BROWN, Frederick (c. 1848-1897) was first recorded in Owen Sound, Grey County, Ont. in 1884. In 1888 he left that town and moved to Fort William. He was the among the first architects to open an office at the Lakehead where he sustained a career for nearly ten years until his death there on 26 July 1897 (Journal [Fort William], 31 July 1897, 1)
