Beaudry, Romeo

BEAUDRY, Romeo (1894- ) was born in Montreal on 7 October 1894 and graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique there in 1919. Many of his residential designs, including those of typical walk-up apartments such as the Regent Apartments, Park Avenue, 1926-27 were designed in a highly mannered period style which combined Tudor Gothic features and distinctive projecting bay windows. Beaudry resigned from practise in 1953 (inf. Province of Quebec Assoc. of Architects).
