MORGAN, Victor Llewellyn (1888-1936) was born in London, Ont. on 14 April 1888 and articled with the Toronto firm of Symons & Rae from 1903 to 1908. He moved to Sudbury to manage the branch office of Angus & Angus of North Bay from 1914 to 1916, then operated his own office in Sudbury in 1916-19. He then relocated to Toronto in 1920 and specialised in the design of eclectically styled walk-up apartment houses in the Forest Hill, High Park and North Toronto neighbourhoods. Morgan died in Toronto on 26 February 1936 (obit. Telegram [Toronto], 27 Feb. 1936, 2;; obit. Gazette [Montreal], 27 Feb. 1936, 6; inf. Ontario Assoc. of Architects). His son was Henry D.L. Morgan, also active as an architect in Toronto after 1938.
